About Jamie Power...

Jamie Power has been coaching for 14 years and is a past winner of Tennis Nova Scotia's coach of the year award. His students have competed both nationally and internationally.

He graduated from Dalhousie University in 2008 with Bachelor of Science in Recreation and a Bachelor of Management. He was also the first recipient of the Jim Stevenson Memorial Scholarship for enthusiasm, sportsmanship and dedication to the sport of tennis.

Phil Anderson, Neila Starratt, and Josh Chabinka

Phil Anderson

Phil just finished another successful year on a tennis scholarship to the University of New Mexico. Phil is a former Junior National Champion and Nova Scotia Open champion. This is Phil's 3rd summer at Conrose and he is currently taking his Club Pro 1 Certification.

Neila Starratt

Neila just graduated from the University of Houston with a Bacheor of Psychology. Neila was on tennis scholarship for her entire student career in Houston and is also a former national junior competitor. Neila has been a substitute coach at Conrose many times and will be familiar with the kids. We are happy to have her with us for her first full season at Conrose.

Josh Chabinka

Josh is a former junior national competitor. He just finished a successful first year at Dalhousie University and worked part time coaching at the Courtyard for the indoor season. Josh is currently upgrading his certification level to Club Pro 1 and is back at Conrose for his second summer of coaching.
